A snapshot of guest ratings and stories behind the stay.
“We stayed on the night of Tuesday 24/2/26. We had the room at the back, with 2 lovely bedrooms and a good bathroom. The room was unbelievably hot when we arrived as it faces due west. It eventually cooled down with windows opened, but I should have asked the friendly and helpful young hostess about it first because there WAS aircon! It's in what I believe is a renovated old bank building.”
“Room was clean and roomier than most with a good sized bathroom. The hotel is an old building but in relatively good condition. There is no lift available in the building, didn’t worry us but good to know. The reception area has a really nice sitting room with free tea/coffee and port/sherry (a nice touch). You can purchase cheap drinks from the sitting area. Room has all you need for a comfy stay. Parking is street parking out the front without limit for guests. Location is good if you plan to hang around Penguin or go to Burnie.”
